My love affair with web design started back in the age of MySpace. As a teenager, I taught myself the fundamentals of coding to create custom profiles for myself and my friends. What began as a hobby, cheekily charging friends a fiver to pimp out their profiles, quickly evolved into a lifelong ambition.
By the age of 15, I knew that web design was my calling. I dove deeper into self-learning, building mock websites to create a portfolio that showcased my growing skills. This portfolio opened doors for me early on. At 16, I was accepted into a college course straight away, thanks to the strength of my work, and I graduated with an HND by the age of 17.
